CAR WASH DE LA SMITH

This weekend Nate decided that we needed to not only wash, but wax and vacuum out the cars. Granted it has been a while, but it is one of my all time, least favorite things to do. It wasn't bad enough to do the little car, but my beast kicked every body's butt. I did get some pictures as it was really the first family car wash that included everybody.

The mud was more interesting...

That's one dirty diaper!

BOYS WILL BE BOYS...

So I told Foster to play with a newly changed Ammon the other day while I took a shower. He did, but apparently they didn't think it was necessary to keep the diaper on while they played.

I knew they were playing "hunt the aliens" with Foster's guns, but had no idea (till I emerged from the bathroom) how funny it was. Seemed like such a boy thing to do I thought it deserved a picture or two.

XTREME LITTLE MAN

Yesterday we spent one last day at the beach with Sandee and the kids. Ammon has finally become interested in doing the water stuff. He is a super fish in the pool, but until recently has not had the least bit of interest in the ocean.

Josh helped me with his first body boarding lesson. I dropped him into the waves or calm water and Josh caught him. Lucky for us Sandee took some great pictures!

Loving the first drop...

Here I come Josh!

PAIN FREE AND BACK TO THE BEACH!!

I am finally home and pain free! I am functioning normally and loving having visitors in town!

We first had a friend from growing up come to stay with us for a few days. We haven't seen him since Foster was Ammon's age.

Aaron was a blast to have around and we loved seeing his mom and John again as well. Hopefully he had a great time meeting all the kids and running all over!

Aaron has never been to SoCal before, so we had to do the beach!

Aaron and Nate were quick to dig a hole and then fill it with Foster...

Jeff and Sandee are in town with the kids, so of we course have done the beach and pool with them too. I love some of the pics I got...

Relaxing poolside after a fun day in the sun!

My beach beauty!

The girls. They dug a great hole and used the boogie boards and a towel to create shade for it. I was too lame to get a finished picture of it though. Shortly after the tide came back in and filled in the hole. The kids loved jumping in and out of the pool as it filled.

I love belly pictures!

The girls had a great time playing with Jeff!

Ressa loves getting water and digging holes to pour it in.

Nick and Foster had a great time playing in the sand...

MOM! I fell off the body board again!

Jeff and Sandee with the girls...

Jeff, Sandee, and kids were also here for Tuesday's earthquake. It was a good sized one(5.4) centered about 45 minutes inland from us in Chino Hills. They were at the house with Nate and the kids playing "Rockband" when it hit Long Beach. There wasn't any real damage. The fan fell and a few things fell off Nate's dresser. No big deal.

I was at the doctor's office having my stint removed. On the second floor... things were really rocking. Mostly felt huge since the building is built on rollers. The computer system was down for about 20 minutes after, but other than that no damages.
