DISNEY TRIPS...

We were lucky enough to be given four 3-day park hopper tickets for DisneyLand and California Adventure. Thank you Caroline!

The first day we let the older two skip school and left the younger two with Cheryl for the day. We got there at opening and ran to every ride... okay maybe I didn't run, but did walk fast. We did all the big rides in both parks, some of them twice, by 3pm and called it a day. Foster was finally big enough to do the Indiana Jones ride as well as the "Big Mickey Rollercoaster" (CaliforniaScreaming). We had to force him to go on the rollercoaster with me, but once he was there he never wanted to leave. We had so much fun with just the older kids!

Then I took Ressa and Ammon with Tina and her kids. They had a blast! Ressa and her "prince charming" posed in front of the castle and then it was off to do EVERY ride in FantasyLand. We called it a day in time to pick up the older kids at school.

The third day we took Cheryl and Ressa's best girl friend with us. We took it easy and did all the little rides, Pirates, ToonTown, and the highlight... I took the girls down SplashMountain! They loved doing the big girl ride. I thought for sure somebody would break down, but to my pleasant surprise both girls loved the animals, screamed their heads off down the drop, and then laughed their way off the ride. Girl power! Ammon loves most the rides (only exception is the mary-go-round... screams every time the horse goes down), but is not fond of the charecters. I had to hold him to get a pic with Mickey. He just gets uncomfortable looking at them, then when they get close he looses it!

Just the way we like them!

OPENING DAY...

Cyanne's soccer league had an opening day festival today. We skipped most of the events since there were huge lines and it was hot, but the banner I made was entered in the banner contest and pictures were in the afternoon. I got a few pictures so thought it would be fun to post! Season starts next weekend.

SCHOOL IS IN SESSION!

We didn't get out of the school the kids were in last year, but lucky for us the district did not let the little boys back in that caused so much trouble for Foster last year. We adore their teachers, both of whom are very strict! I hope this year will be great!

RESSA'S TRESSES

Yes Ressa has short hair now... it finally happened! I was watching my friend's little girl the other day and they decided to play barber shop.

Ressa didn't do too much damage to her friend, but Ressa's hair was only fixable by cutting it off. At least both sets of parents know that hair will grow back so it's no big deal.

Another friend of ours cuts hair so she came to fix it. Thank you!
